Castro Boateng, award-winning chef of House of Boateng, will once more cook up a delicious African dinner.
The Da Vinci Centre, seating up to 320, will be the venue
The Anniversary Quilt, created by grandmothers across Canada with some material from Africa, will be on display. The Quilt was made to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the founding of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. This will be its first stop on the Island.
Our bi-annual African Dinner held in early May 2019 was once again a big success. We raised just over $20,000.00 for the Campaign. Heartfelt thanks to all those who donated items to support our Silent Auction and to the many, many volunteers who helped both before and at the event.
The food was once again delicious... thanks for this go to Chef Castro Boateng and his team.
Due to COVID restrictions we have not had an African Dinner since 2019. We do, however, have many other fundraisers planned. Please browse the website to find out about them.
