Cyclists will meet between 5:30 and 5:40 a.m. at the Coho Ferry Passenger Terminal. Ferry departs Victoria at 6:10 a.m. and will arrive into Port Angeles at 7:55 a.m. Breakfast on the ferry; bring your own or buy on the ferry. Lunch in Sequim at the Rainshadow Cafe. We will cycle along the scenic and historic Olympic Discovery Trail. Vistas include a river flood plain, a prairie-like region, rural forested landscape and beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains. Returning to Victoria we have to be in Port Angeles at the ferry terminal at 4:45 p.m. for a departure at 5:15 p.m. The ferry will arrive in Victoria at 6:45 p.m.
Everyone must buy their own ferry ticket: $US 44.50 return trip.
Medical insurance with no preconditions $ CA 22-24 from BCAA.

Average pace 16-17 km per hour. It is a beautiful ride through temperate rainforest and pastoral landscape. With the exception of three major up and downs it's mostly flat and gentle hills .
