This approximately 80 km ride is suitable for stronger riders. The average pace will be 15 - 16 km per hour because it is quite hilly!
Riders to meet at the Brentwood Bay to Mill Bay Ferry dock for an 8:40 am ferry departure. Be there no later than 8:30! We will catch the 12:55 ferry from Crofton to Vesuvius on Saltspring Island and the 4:30 or 6:00 pm ferry from Fulford Harbour back to Swartz Bay. If you are planning on riding home after our 6:35 arrival at Swartz Bay make sure you have good front and back lights. You will be flirting with the dark.
Riders will cover their own costs. Ferries will be free for seniors. We have a Plan B and C if the ferries are not running.
